About this deal

The angled cable housing helps make use of the highly curved cable hooks in my case but here too you may want to use a heat gun or hairdryer to re-shape them if you find the cable to not fit over and behind your ears well. Still, when several instruments play simultaneously, the sound becomes muddled, with the bass dominating the higher frequency range. It is a budget Marvel in my opinion, and I do believe that it will be some time before we see another which is so well executed. Minus the DQ6S which I still have yet to have in my ears for longer than 5 minutes (they weren’t mine), as well as his most expensive sets. I hear a semi-smooth replay with a non-fatiguing sound yet still with some defined edges to notes and an energetic warmth which sounds decently compelling.

The MOONDROP Droplet is an interesting set that goes the DSP route with its fixed cable and a Type-C connector while offering one of the most comfortable shells on the market. These IEMs, although wired, are designed and built with the goal of just delivering brilliant sound. The IEM’s themselves are light, manufactured from a plastic resin, the body of mine is dark almost black, and slightly translucent (not sure thats the right word… I and sure if you held a torch up to it you could see some of the internal anatomy). On bass heavy tracks, the Wan’er does feel more neutral and less warm, thanks to the cleaner cut of the bass-shelf and tighter nature, while the QKZ HBB’s bass is more prominent but also more tactile. Its V-shaped sound signature makes it more of a pleasure listening pair than neutrally tuned IEMs, unlike the 7Hz Zero, which other people might prefer.

There is a slight bit more emphasis in the upper-mids to lower-treble on the Zero and coupled with the attenuated lower bass region the Zero has a better chance at fatigue. But if we talk about the current model, the QKZ x HBB Khan is a collaboration between QKZ and the famous audio reviewer HBB (HawaiiBadBoy from "Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews").

There have been a few other such entries and, arguably, some credit can be given to the Truthear x Crinacle ZERO that started this dual DD driver configuration at a reasonable cost too. Note: Timings might be affected due to festive seasons or other unforeseen circumstances What happens if the parcel has been shipped but not delivered? The mids overall are nice, but you get some bass bleed/muddiness due to the strong general bass emphasis. If you’re someone who usually switches between a variety of devices with different OS, then these are suited for you. There is a defined end point and a retaining notch to help secure the ear tips which easily fit over the nozzle and remain there as seen above.I have purchased a number of budget offerings over the years, and I had the HBB Mele which I enjoyed very much, sadly on one particular work site these expired, getting caught up in an argument between gravity and some bulldozer tracks. It includes the drivers and the cable itself, which is equipped with a 2-pin QDC connector and the default plug of the cable is 3. To give you the purest natural music, 4th generation industry-level DLP-3D printing is adapted to make the acoustic conduits in greater precision. Leveraging HBB's expertise and extensive IEM frequency measurement database, QKZ has developed a well-balanced acoustic sound signature for the QKZ X HBB. The QKZ x HBB IEMs have since been my go-to pair when gaming, as their sound signature fits right in the games I casually play.
